Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park
We start off the 10-day safari with a full day game drive in Tanzania’s 3rd largest wildlife game park, Tarangire national park. Pick up from Arusha early in the morning and drive to Tarangire, home of the “giants”, that is giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Explore the park on a rewarding game drive where you will encounter lions, buffalos, antelopes, hippos, zebras, giraffes among others. Get to visit the Tarangire River the lifeline of the park and its resident animal and bird life.
Day 2: To Manyara national park
Early morning game drive in Tarangire national park and then transfer to Lake Manyara national park. Here you get a chance to spot lions relaxing up in the trees, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, cheetahs, hyenas, blue monkeys, baboons, flamingos on Lake Manyara and other waterbirds among other wildlife. Optional brief visit to the village of Mto wa Mbu.
Day 3: To Lake Natron
Today to drive further North to the highly alkaline shallow Lake Natron, an important breeding place for the lesser flamingos that can be see in millions on the lake during breeding season. You will take on guided walks close to the shores of Lake Natron and a brief visit to Maasai community for a cultural experience.
Day 4: Hike and transfer to Serengeti national park
Wake up before sunrise and go for a light but adventurous hike to the Ngaresero waterfall on Ngaresero River. Enjoy the scenic views and you could also take a dip. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved breakfast, check out and drive to Serengeti national park. By the afternoon, you will be in Serengeti, check in at your lodge and have lunch. Later on you, you can head out into the wilderness for a game drive or stay back at the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, making use of the amenities available at the lodge, relaxing and re-energizing for the coming days that will be full of lots of game drives and wildlife viewing.
Day 5-6: Exploring Serengeti national park
Serengeti national park is Tanzania’s most popular and visited national park, home to the wildebeest migration which is the major attraction of visitors to the park. This natural occurrence takes place annually and even when it is quiet, the park still has a lot to offer as it boasts of a diverse wildlife spread out all over its vast wilderness. Explore the Serengeti on guided game drives, walking safaris and hot air balloon safaris. Day 7-8: Exploring Ngorongoro conservation area – Ngorongoro Crater drive

Day 9: Lake Eyasi

Day 10: End of safari
